WHAT IS MICROBLADING?

Microblading is a semi-permanent tattoo procedure where pigment is implanted beneath the the skin by using a special hand-tool which houses a row of micro sterile, disposable needles forming a blade that creates the appearance of hair where it is sparse. Microblading creates fullness enhancing the appearance of the brows.

DOES MICROBLADING HURT?

A topical anesthetic cream or gel is used to numb the area before and during the procedure. Pain level may vary depending upon each individual. Please note heightened sensitivity may occur during menstrual cycle.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

There are several stages which include; numbing, outlining the desired shape, the actual process of Microblading, and the fine tuning of the finished process. This usually takes roughly 2-2.5 hours.

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

Microblading procedure is considered semi-permanent and fades over time. It is important to schedule a follow-up appointment after your initial treatment in 6-8 weeks for final evaluation and additional treatment to perfect your brow shape. After the 2nd treatment, touch-ups may be needed approximately after 18-24 months depending upon each individual. Skin type and lifestyle can effect the longevity of your cosmetic tattoo - we can not guarantee specific results.

Skin Conditions such as Psoriasis, Eczema, Dermatitis, Rash or Sunburns on or around the treated area

HOW WILL I KNOW IF I NEED A TOUCH UP?

The best results generally come from a two step process. Touch ups allow us to analyze how the color regenerates beneath the skin and add in areas that may have healed incorrectly. Healed results are unique to each client and we do our best to create a consistent experience. Touch ups are beneficial for color restoration, shape correction, and/or any fine tuning the client desires and are highly recommended.

DO DIFFERENT SKIN TYPES REACT DIFFERENTLY TO MICROBLADING?

In short, yes. However, healed results are unique to each client. In our experience, dry skin typically heals to a finer (crisp) finish, while oily skin typically leads to a thicker (soft) healed stroke. Results vary and can be attributed to a number of factors including; skin type, lifestyle, aftercare, and environmental exposure.

ARE THERE ANY REASONS WHY I MAY BE INELIGIBLE FOR MICROBLADING?

You must be 18+ to receive a service at Wildflower Beauty + Brows. As a safety precaution, we refrain from working on individuals who are pregnant or nursing. If you have previously microbladed eyebrows by another artist or are a male client, we do require a visual consultation via email before you are eligible to book an appointment. This is to ensure expectations and achievable results coincide with one another. If you are diabetic, you must insure your diabetes is well-controlled. High blood sugar levels can complicate the healing process. We also refrain from working on individuals who are going through chemotherapy because they are at higher risks of bleeding and infection.

WHAT IS THE INDUSTRY STANDARD FOR GRATUITY?

Gratuity is neither mandatory or expected, but is appreciated and fully left to the discretion of the client.

Due to the high volume of clientele, we offer same day consultations that are included in the deposit fee of the service. WHAT IS LIP BLUSH?

Lip Blush creates a soft and subtle blush of color defining the shape and giving the appearance of plump and flushed lips. Lip color is customized to each client based on natural lip color, undertone and skin tone.

HOW DOES LIP BLUSH WORK?

A rotary device is used to deposit and layer pigments within the lips to create a soft and natural blush tone.

DOES LIP BLUSH HURT?

Discomfort is minimal and a numbing cream is used to insure a painless procedure. This may vary depending on the individuals pain tolerance.

HOW LONG DOES LIP BLUSH TAKE?

WHAT COLORS ARE AVAILABLE FOR LIP BLUSH?

A wide range of tones in the pink, coral, and red families are available to create a customized shade. This will be determined with your artist prior to beginning.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER LIP BLUSH?

Like any tattoo, swelling and redness is unavoidable. You may experience an intensified vibrancy from the pigment causing a temporary boldness to your lips. As they heal, the swelling will desist, the vibrancy will settle, and the color will restore to a natural finish.

IS THERE DOWN TIME FOR LIP BLUSH?

The healing process for Lip Blush takes approximately 3-4 days. In that time you may experience some dryness and texture until the lips naturally exfoliate themselves. Aquaphor or a provided barrier cream is to be applied during the healing process.

HOW WILL I KNOW IF I NEED A TOUCH UP?

Touch ups are beneficial for layering the pigment for more saturation and must be completed within 10 weeks from the original session for the reduced price-point to be honored.

HOW LONG DOES LIP BLUSH LAST?

Approximately 2-3 years after you’ve received your touch up. Skin type and lifestyle can effect the longevity of your cosmetic tattoo - we can not guarantee specific results.
