Helping the Community

Rachelle of Wildflower Beauty + Brows has always had a love and passion for animals. She is a huge advocate for rescuing and is dedicated to helping out animals in need. Growing up in the Philippines, her Grandfather bred many types of dogs and she helped care for them. As an adult, she focused on helping cats and dogs living on the streets find their forever-loving homes.

At the height of the pandemic, she was grateful to hear the stories of all the animals rescued and adopted at the shelters. Unfortunately, when some of these pet parents were asked to come back to the office more animals began to be left on the streets and shelters were once again at capacity. Overcrowded shelters often times lead to euthanasia for an animal who has no voice. Rachelle naturally finds this heartbreaking.

Wildflower Beauty + Brows will start volunteering and donating to the Long Beach Animal Care Services as well as Life According to Wellington, a non-profit organization that helps animals living on the streets. We will also have a donation box located in the reception area at our Wildflower Beauty + Brows location.

We welcome donations of pet food or any gently used (or new) travel crates of all sizes, leashes, collars, towels, blankets, toys, bowls, poop bags & toiletries.
